About TCCC
Twin Cities Ceili Club is a Minnesota non profit created to support, promote, preserve, and teach Irish and Celtic folk dances. We serve a broad community of dancers in the greater Twin Cities Metro area.
TCCC hosts regular Ceili’s for a diverse community of dancers. We partner with local folk organizations to promote Irish social dancing. In the Irish language Ceili (pronounced Kay-lee) translates to “gathering” although it is sometimes translated to “celebration”. We prioritize bringing people together. Our dances have simple steps, and a caller, to make sure that everyone has a chance to join in the fun.
At TCCC our goal is fun, inclusive, social dancing that preserves the incredible tradition of Ceili dancing. We are not a competition dance school, we emphasize the joyful nature of communal dancing. We believe that anyone can learn and participate in these dances.
At Twin Cities Ceili Club you can expect to
